Age Fighters in Action
If you are ready to wake up your skin for a fresher, younger appearance, we can help! There are several injectable products used to reverse the signs of aging. Within a matter of minutes we can turn the clock back 5 to 10 years by adding volume in the right places and softening lines of animation. Beautiful results are our passion and we want you feeling and looking refreshed, not injected.
Take a look at these different areas to see if these procedures are right for you.
Types of Injectables
Botox is an injection that blocks nerve activity in the muscle. When it sets in the muscles, the face will not be able to make the hard lines that cause wrinkling in the skin. Most common areas are in between the eyebrows, forehead, and crows feet area.
These products take up to 2 weeks to fully onset, but the results are amazing, and last 3 ½ to 4 months.
Depending on the quality of your skin, regular use of these products (3 times per year) can eliminate lines all together, if the process is started in your 30s or 40s.
It is never too late to start treating lines of animation because the lift you get is incredible.
BOTOX® Cosmetic (onabotulinumtoxinA) is indicated in adult patients for the temporary improvement in the appearance of:
- Moderate to severe glabellar lines associated with corrugator and/or procerus muscle activity
- Moderate to severe lateral canthal lines associated with orbicularis oculi activity
- Moderate to severe forehead lines associated with frontalis activity
About the Procedure
Injections pose little discomfort for patients and typically take less than 30 minutes to complete. Patients are allowed to return to regular activities immediately after the procedure. Any mild bruising or swelling after the treatment will usually subside within a few hours.
Juvederm is a minimally-invasive treatment with no downtime that can effectively help you turn back the clock on your skin.
Fillers are injections that can add volume and structure to the face. Great for replacing volume to where it once was. It also smooths deep wrinkles, and plumps thin lips.
Juvederm is a dermal filler known for its smooth, long-lasting application. This solution has a hyaluronic acid base, the same substance produced by the body to support underlying skin structure and provide hydration to the skin.
These fillers are injected into the face yielding immediate results. These products last between 1 to 2 years, and since they are made of a naturally occurring molecule found in our tissue, there is a very low incidence of adverse reactions.
These products instantly replace volume; softening the contours of the face while lifting descending tissue. Although these products are long lasting, we recommend injectable filler appointments every 6 months in order to maintain your results.
As the body ages, it produces less hyaluronic acid, leading to loss of elasticity in the skin and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Juvederm restores support to the underlying skin structure, smoothing creases from the face for a younger, fresher appearance.
Juvederm is a versatile cosmetic treatment that can be used to address many signs of aging, including:
- Lines that run from the corners of the mouth to the chin (marionette lines)
Nasolabial folds that go from the nose to the corners of the mouth
- Vertical lines that appear above the lip line
Add volume to lips for a sexier pout
- Add support to under eye area by treating tear trough
The Juvederm line also includes a new formula, known as Juvederm Voluma™ , which is effective in replacing lost volume in areas like the cheeks and jawline. This smooth solution re-sculpts facial contours for a younger profile. Juvederm Voluma™ is the only FDA-approved filler to correct age-related volume loss in the mid-face region.
About the Procedure
Juvederm is an injectable treatment that delivers the hyaluronic acid solution via a very fine needle. Juvederm solutions typically contain lidocaine to ensure a comfortable procedure for the patient. The length of the treatment depends on how many areas are to be treated and how many injections are required. Patients may return to normal activities immediately after the procedure. Some experience mild swelling at the injection sites, which usually subsides within a few hours.
Recovery and Typical Results
Results from Juvederm can be seen right away. Juvederm is a relatively long-lasting dermal filler, with some patients going up to one year before a touch-up treatment is required. Results can be extended by having a single touch-up treatment a few weeks after the original procedure.
