Restylane Lyft is an injectable filler used to smooth out lines and creases on the face. This solution contains hyaluronic acid, a natural substance produced by the body.
Lyft is formulated to handle even severe facial creases, with larger particles that can be injected deeper below the skin’s surface. Lyft restores volume to the underlying skin structure, for a smoother, younger appearance from the inside out.
Lyft can be used to address a wide range of lines and creases, including:
- Nasolabial folds from the nose to the corners of the mouth
- Fine lines that appear above the lip line
- Marionette lines that run from the corners of the mouth to the chin
At Owsley Plastic Surgery, the most common use for Lyft is to restore lost volume to the under eye area, cheeks, lips and jawline. The formula is effective in smoothing out the look of facial depressions as well, such as shallow acne and chicken pox scarring.
About the Procedure
Lyft is administered by injection using a very fine needle. Some formulations of the product also contain lidocaine, which makes the procedure more comfortable for patients. A topical anesthetic may also be used at the beginning of the procedure.
Treatment sessions usually take less than 30 minutes to complete, depending on the number of treatment areas and number of injections needed. Most patients are able to return to work and normal activities immediately after treatment.
Individual results may vary.
Recovery and Typical Results
Lyft results can be seen right after the procedure. This formula typically lasts 6 to 8 months before a touch-up treatment is required. Lyft can be performed alone, on in combination with other cosmetic procedures, such as Dysport injections.
